Scope, pricing and ongoing care
Customer portals

Give customers a secure place for documents, messages, orders, progress or account actions. Permissions, recovery and sensitive information are designed deliberately.

Internal business platforms

Replace scattered spreadsheets and manual handovers with a focused workspace for the process your team needs to run, review and improve.

Web and mobile apps

Build for the devices and working conditions people actually have. We assess responsive browser-based workflows first. Dedicated mobile delivery, offline requirements and ongoing support need a separate feasibility check and confirmed scope.

A platform that can evolve

Define roles, validation, audit history, exports and operating responsibilities from the start. Connections to other systems are assessed and scoped through the integrations and data service.

How we plan and deliver
  1. Map the users, decisions and current process before choosing the technology.
  2. Agree the first useful release, permissions, acceptance criteria and ownership.
  3. Build and test ordinary, incomplete and failure paths with representative users.
  4. Release in phases, document operation and prioritise improvements from actual use.

Measure duplicate entry, missing information, handover delays and task completion against the real process before claiming an improvement.

Define the first useful release.

A portal or internal platform needs a clear job, known users and an owner for the process. Start with that brief before choosing features or technology.

Website, browser-based app or mobile delivery?

A public website explains your offer and starts an enquiry. A browser-based application lets customers or staff work with records and complete tasks. A dedicated installed app is a separate delivery decision: device needs, distribution and support must be assessed and confirmed before it enters the scope.

  • Test the real devices and working conditions.
  • Define what must happen when a connection is interrupted.
  • Check whether existing software already supports the task.

What does application discovery produce?

Agree a process map, user roles and a prioritised first-release brief. A prototype helps review the journey; a technical trial answers a named feasibility question. Neither is described as a finished production system.

  • The records and systems that own the information.
  • Who may view, change and approve each type of record.
  • Acceptance scenarios, unresolved dependencies and work excluded from the first release.

What is tested before release?

Test the agreed workflow with representative users and controlled data. Include incomplete requests and recovery paths as well as the ordinary sequence.

  • Invitation, account recovery and removal of access.
  • Separation between customers and staff roles.
  • Duplicate actions, interrupted connections and failed integrations.
  • Exports and migration checks where these are in scope.

Who owns and operates the application?

The proposal identifies account access, source and asset rights, hosting, third-party licences and data-export arrangements. Agree who supports users, reviews exceptions and authorises releases. Monitoring, updates and new features belong in an explicit care or change agreement.

What determines cost and timing?

The workflow, user roles, data migration, system access and testing requirements shape the work. We set milestones and dependencies after discovery. Build work, third-party subscriptions, usage and ongoing support are identified separately; no universal delivery period is assumed.
